There are new owners at Auglaize Embroidery. We wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves. There are some new voices on the phone and new faces in the store. Back on March 1st, 2021, The Bailey's purchased Auglaize Embroidery from Judy. We are excited to continue to offer the great products that Judy has offered to Wapakoneta and the surrounding areas.
We want to give everyone a little background on who the new owners are.
Meet the Bailey's
Christy is a 2008 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School. Christy was very active in the music department while participating in the yearly musical and the show choir crew. Christy also played soccer and softball. After graduation, she attended The Ohio State University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Theatre. Next, Christy attended Bluffton University to obtain her licensure to be able to teach High School English. She had worked for the past four years at Lima Senior High School. This year, she will be returning to her alma mater, teaching 8th grade English at the high school.
Brian is a 2007 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School. Brian was very active as well in school, participating in Show Choir and Choir. Brian also Wrestled, played Tennis, and ran Track. He was a member of the FFA, serving as a student advisor and treasurer. After graduation, Brian Attended the Ohio Fire Academy obtaining his Professional Firefighting Certification and EMT-Basic. Brian attended Rhodes State to get certified as a paramedic. Brian has worked full-time in the fire service since 2009. He is currently a Firefighter/Paramedic at Shawnee Township Fire Department.
In 2017 we were approached by Brian's uncles to buy their business Bailey's Equipment and Apparel. They were able to complete the transaction in June to become the new owners. Bailey's Equipment supplies local first responders with the equipment and apparel to do their jobs safely. In three years, we expanded our operations to add embroidery and screen printing services in our small building located in Lima. Knowing they would quickly outgrow their space, they had an opportunity to purchase Auglaize Embroidery. They officially took over in March of 2021. We will be introducing our staff in future blog posts to show off our talented team.
We are excited to offer Wapakoneta and the surrounding area new brands and continue to offer the same excellent service they have received in the past.
We will be giving updates on what is going on with the industry. There have been many changes over the year. Hopefully, we can shed more light on when the supply chain will be back up and running without interruptions.
We look forward to serving the community that gave so much to us growing up!
